The Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD) football overcame the host Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 34-26 in Monday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cadets face the Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) in a Central Maryland bout, on Thursday, September 14. Frederick will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 41-24 non-league win over Allegany (Cumberland, MD).
The Owls (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers enter the Carroll County bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, South Carroll was toppled by Linganore (Frederick, MD), 56-0, in a non-league bout.
