The Rhea County Golden Eagles football team (Evensville, TN), was tipped 21-16 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN)
The Cherokees (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Redskins come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Loudon nipped Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN), 36-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cleveland for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18.
