The Hanover Hawks held off the host J.R. Tucker Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mechanicsville for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Hanover will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Hermitage held off Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
