The Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) soccer bounced the host Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC), 5-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

With the win, Asheville moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Erwin (Asheville, NC) to battle the Warriors in a The Mountain 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Erwin lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Enka (Enka, NC)

In their next game, the Blues battle the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina bout, on Tuesday, September 12.
