The Belding Black Knights soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Shepherd Bluejays to 0 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Black Knights face the Godwin Heights Wolverines (Wyoming, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest, on Thursday, September 14. Belding will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 4-2 non-league win over West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI).
The Bluejays now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pinconning for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 13. Shepherd will face a Spartans team coming off a 2-2 non-league Alcona (Lincoln, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
