In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Plainfield South Cougars.
The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Lions go into the West Suburban - Silver battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Lyons nipped Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats go into the Suburban Prairie battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Plainfield Central nipped Morris (Morris, IL), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
