The Farmington Knights (Farmington, MO) softball routed the visiting Fredericktown Black Cats (Fredericktown, MO), 13-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Jackson (Jackson, MO). The Fighting Indians go into the non-league bout with a 15-3 record. In their last bout, Jackson toppled Marquette (Chesterfield, MO), 8-2, in a non-league bout.
The Black Cats now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Saxony Lutheran for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Fredericktown will confront a Crusaders squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Sikeston (Sikeston, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-2.
