The Sasakwa Vikings got by the visiting Macomb Hornets softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK). The Wildcats go into the Class B battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Earlsboro was edged by Varnum (Seminole, OK), 9-2, in a league battle.

The Hornets now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Bowlegs for a Class A battle on Tuesday, September 12. Macomb will meet a Bison squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Strother (Seminole, OK). The Bison record now stands at 2-13.
