In Monday's league contest, the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) softball team the host Paden Pirates (Paden, OK), by a margin of 6-4.
With the triumph, Varnum moves its record to 9-17 on the year. The Whippets host Holdenville (Holdenville, OK) to play the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 8-27.
