The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Academy of Our Lady Penguins (Marrero, LA) and the visiting Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA), saw Academy of Our Lady's volleyball squad beat Bourgeois by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Academy of Our Lady upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Penguins travel to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Central Lafourche won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA)

The Braves now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Morgan City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19.
