The Crescent City Christian Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals to 2 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Monday.

The Pioneers now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a Division V District 8 game on Tuesday, September 12. Crescent City Christian will confront a Saints team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Saints record now stands at 1-5.

The Cardinals (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA). The enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Thomas Jefferson held off Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
