The Boaz Pirates volleyball team (Boaz, AL), went down 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL)

The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Glencoe went down by Sardis (Boaz, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL) in a 5A Area 13 challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Boaz will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL).
