The Union County Braves held off the visiting Christian County Colonels volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.
The Braves now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henderson County for a District 6 test on Tuesday, September 12. Union County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hermann (Hermann, MO). The Colonels record now stands at 2-10.
The Colonels (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Hopkinsville held off Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
