The Church Point Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets to 2 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.
The Bears now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Church Point will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 league win over Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-4.
The Yellowjackets (4-6) will now prepare for their game against North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, North Vermilion nipped Jennings (Jennings, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
