The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sherwood (Creighton, MO). The Marksmen come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Sherwood lost by Versailles (Versailles, MO), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Cole Camp Blue Birds (Cole Camp, MO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 12. La Monte will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Birds come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Lone Jack (Lone Jack, MO).
