In Monday's non-league battle, the host Daviess County Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hancock County Hornets.
The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles come into the District 9 battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Apollo lost by Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
