Minnesota High School Volleyball - Martin County West can't hold off Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Martin County West Mavericks.

The Thunderbirds (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Chargers come into the Tomahawk battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Minnesota Valley Lutheran was edged by Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
