In Monday's league battle, the visiting Leonardtown Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Huntingtown Hurricanes.

The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Chopticon defeated Patuxent (Lusby, MD), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Hurricanes encounter the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland battle, on Wednesday, September 13. Huntingtown will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD).
