The Kennedy Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richfield for a Tri-Metro game on Wednesday, September 13. Kennedy will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 4-1.

The Hawks (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN). The Centaurs enter the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Brooklyn Center dropped by St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
