The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) and the visiting McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI), saw St. Francis's volleyball squad beat McBain by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Cadillac lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI)

The Ramblers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Evart for a Highland bout on Tuesday, September 12. McBain will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
