Illinois High School Volleyball - Oregon can't hold off Polo

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Polo Marcos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Oregon Hawks.
The Marcos (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Orangeville was edged by Durand (Durand, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Hawks clash with the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) in a Big Northern battle, on Thursday, September 14. Oregon will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Royal Lions come into the battle with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL).
