The Woodland Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Monday.
The Warriors now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Earlville for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 13. Woodland will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-4.
The Mustangs (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks enter the Heart of Illinois game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Tremont nipped Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
