With the win, Providence advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Oldham County (Buckner, KY) to face the Colonels in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Dragons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oldham for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. South Oldham will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
