In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Yorktown Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. John's Cadets.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Langley beat Herndon (Herndon, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cadets meet the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) in a challenge, on Friday, September 13. St. John's will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
