The Kennedy Fighting Irish edged the host Katella Knights flag football team by a score of 7-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish face the Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 16. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Argonauts enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA).

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA). The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Godinez Fundamental was edged by Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA), 39-0, in a non-league challenge.
