The San Pedro Pirates flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting King/Drew Golden Eagles to 6 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montebello for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. San Pedro will meet a Oilers squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to South El Monte (South El Monte, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, King/Drew drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Hawks in a Coliseum test on Monday, September 16. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-3. Hawkins lost 26-0 in their recent league test against Crenshaw (Los Angeles, CA)
