California High School Flag Football - St. Bernard thwarted by Saint Joseph

Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), 35-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Saint Joseph improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Jesters host Lakewood (Lakewood, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Lakewood lost 32-0 in their recent league battle against Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA)

The Vikings now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a battle on Monday, September 16. St. Bernard will play a Belles team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Belles record now stands at 1-1.
