Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Rowan County advances its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Estill County (Irvine, KY) to clash with the Engineers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Engineers come into the test with a record of 6-3. Estill County won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)

The Wildcats now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Patrick for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14.
