Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) and the host Springfield Wildcats (Springfield, OH), saw Northmont's soccer squad triumph over Springfield by a count of 5-0.

The Thunderbolts (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Milton-Union was overwhelmed by Eaton (Eaton, OH), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
