In their next game, the Gobblers face the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Broadway will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 36-8 non-league loss to Riverheads (Staunton, VA).

The Little Giants (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Turner Ashby ran past Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 22-6, in a non-league challenge.
