The Tuscola Mountaineers football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Hendersonville Bearcats to 36 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26.

With the defeat, Hendersonville drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats host R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to meet the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 1-3. R-S Central lost 27-21 in their recent non-league test against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC)
