North Carolina High School Football - Maiden sneaks past St. Stephens

The Maiden Blue Devils football squad scored 30 points and limited the host St. Stephens Indians to 24 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Burke for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Maiden will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 30-6 non-league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, St. Stephens drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-0. West Iredell won 37-0 in their recent non-league test against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)
