Maryland High School Football - Mountain Ridge beat Northern

September 11, 2024: Frostburg, MD 21532

The Mountain Ridge Miners football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Northern Huskies to 14 in the Miners non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Mountain Ridge will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 24-12 non-league win over Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Northern drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Southern (Oakland, MD) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-1. Southern lost 27-7 in their recent non-league test against Uniontown (Uniontown, PA)
