In Wednesday's league contest, the Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) soccer team routed the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), by a count of 9-0.

Next, the Warhorses battle the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A contest, on Wednesday, September 18. Owen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
