In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Wheaton Academy Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Hampshire Whip-Purs.
The Warriors (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Maine South got by Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Whip-Purs play the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 12. Hampshire will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
