In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Metea Valley Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Hinsdale Central Red Devils.
The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Lincoln-Way West got by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Red Devils confront the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 14. Hinsdale Central will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Trevians go into the outing with a 4-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Niles West (Skokie, IL).
