South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Johnston moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to meet the Spartans in a Quad County 3A test on Monday, September 16. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-4. Smithfield-Selma lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Clayton (Clayton, NC)

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosewood for a non-league test on Monday, September 16. Princeton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
