The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets overwhelmed the visiting Screven County Gamecocks softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Southeast Bulloch will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Liberty County (Hinesville, GA).

The Gamecocks (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Redskins go into the 1A D-II Region 3 challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Bryan County was routed by Metter (Metter, GA), 11-5, in a league challenge.
