Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Trinity improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Randleman (Randleman, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Thursday, September 12. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 10-1. Randleman won 3-0 in their recent league test against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)

The Blue Comets now own a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Davidson for a Mid-Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, September 17. Asheboro will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 4-9.
