In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Coconut Creek Cougars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Coral Springs Colts.

The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Flanagan (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Flanagan edged Franklin Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Colts play the Everglades Gators (Miramar, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Coral Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cooper City (Cooper City, FL).
