The Western Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Marshall Redhawks to 2 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mason for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. Western will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Williamston (Williamston, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Marshall drops to 8-4 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Portage Northern (Portage, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 9-6.
