Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Standish-Sterling advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Vassar (Vassar, MI) to face the Vulcans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Vulcans go into the test with a record of 6-2. Vassar won 3-1 in their recent league test against Caro (Caro, MI)

The Mustangs now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farwell for a Jack Pine test on Wednesday, September 18. Meridian will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
