In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Montpelier Solons.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Missisquoi Valley lost by Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Solons meet the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) in a Northern challenge, on Saturday, September 14. Montpelier will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
