The James F. Byrnes Rebels topped the host Airport Eagles volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Rebels now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Eastside for a AAAAA Region 2 outing on Monday, September 15. James F. Byrnes will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Riverside (Greer, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Airport drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host May River (Bluffton, SC) to play the Sharks in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. The Sharks go into the game with a record of 6-7. May River lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC)
