Virginia High School Volleyball - Oakton tips McLean

September 11, 2025: McLean, VA 22101

The Oakton Cougars tipped the host McLean Highlanders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a Concorde outing, on Monday, September 15. Oakton will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Chargers come into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Westfield (Chantilly, VA).

With the loss, McLean drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Hayfield (Alexandria, VA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, September 15. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 2-5. Hayfield won 3-0 in their recent league match against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA)
