Louisiana High School Football - Alexandria triumphant over Union Parish

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA) and the visiting Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), witnessed Alexandria's football squad wallop Union Parish by a tally of 57-0.

The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Destrehan smashed Bonnabel (Kenner, LA), 58-20, in a non-league bout.

The Farmers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Airline for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Union Parish will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 50-18 league win over Benton (Benton, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
