The Red Mesa Redskins football team (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), was crushed 41-6 in Thursday's non-league bout with the host Arete Prep CHARGERS (Gilbert, AZ)

With the win, Arete Prep advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The CHARGERS host ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ) to battle the Titans in a 2A Metro 1 contest on Friday, September 19. The Titans enter the contest with a record of 2-2. ALA - Anthem South won 39-0 in their recent non-league contest against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ)

Coming up next, the Redskins battle the Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ) in a 2A North 1 bout, on Thursday, September 18. Red Mesa will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Chinle (Chinle, AZ).
