Texas High School Football - Austin trounced by Johnson

September 11, 2025: Austin, TX 78703

The Austin Maroons football team (Austin, TX), was crushed 34-0 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX)

The Jaguars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Dripping Springs crushed Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX), 31-26, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Maroons confront the Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Austin will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 40-33 non-league win over Reagan (San Antonio, TX).
