The El Campo Ricebirds overwhelmed the host Fort Bend Dulles Vikings football squad by a margin of 58-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Ricebirds now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Needville for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. El Campo will face a Bluejays team coming off a 17-13 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-1.
The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region III District 21 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Fort Bend Austin was ripped by Fulshear (Fulshear, TX), 67-0, in a non-league challenge.
