Louisiana High School Football - Green Oaks can't hold off Mansfield

Mansfield Wolverines (Mansfield, LA) boosters left the game content Thursday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Green Oaks Giants (Shreveport, LA), 28-22 in a non-league test.

The Wolverines now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Mansfield will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 61-13 non-league win over Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Green Oaks moves to 0-2 on the season. The Giants host Booker T. Washington-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Booker T. Washington-Shreveport won 28-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA)
